Suppressed Listing Introduction

A suppressed listing on Amazon FBA, is a listing that isn’t shown to Amazon customers because your listing is not meeting the requirements for all listings. Until you find and fix the error in your listing, your product will not be shown, and your customers will not be able to purchase your items.

What can cause a listing to be suppressed?

• No main image
• Images don’t meet Amazon standards
• No detailed product description
• No bullet points
• No price
• No available inventory
• Product is not eligible for Amazon’s shipping program
• Product is not eligible for Amazon’s FBA program
• Product is not elgible to be sold on Amazon
• Clothing or accessories product with a title longer than 80 characters

How to fix suppressed listings?

If your listing is suppressed, you will need to find and fix the error in your listing. Once you have fixed the error, your listing will be shown on Amazon again.

1. Navigate to the ‘Manage Inventory’ button under the Inventory tab in Seller Central.
2. Select the checkbox next to the ASIN of the suppressed product.
3. Select the ‘Edit’ button.
4. Find and fix the error in your listing.
5. Save your listing.

What if my listing is still suppressed?

If your listing is still suppressed after you have made the necessary changes, it is possible that your listing is in violation of Amazon’s listing policies. You will need to contact Amazon Seller Support to have your listing reviewed.

How do I bulk fix suppressed listing using Excel?

Identifying and fixing suppressed listings can be a time-consuming process, particularly if you have a large number of listings. Using the Excel template provided, you can quickly identify which of your listings are suppressed, and make the necessary changes to your listings.

1. Download the Excel template.
2. Navigate to the ‘Manage Inventory’ button under the Inventory tab in Seller Central.
3. Select the checkbox next to the ASIN of the suppressed product.
4. Select the ‘Edit’ button.
5. Copy and paste the listing page into the Excel template.
6. Find and fix the error in your listing.
7. Save your listing.
